JAKARTA.LENTERAJABAR.COM,-Tata kelola perusahaan yang baik, atau good corporate governance (GCG), menjadi salah satu aspek penting yang perlu diterapkan oleh berbagai perusahaan, tak hanya untuk kepentingan perusahaan, tetapi juga untuk menunjang perekonomian negara.
Oleh karena itu, Warta Ekonomi menggelar acara penghargaan Indonesia Excellence Good Corporate Governance 2022: Implementing a Continuous Process untuk memberikan apresiasi kepada perusahaan yang menunjukkan tata kelola yang baik dan berkelanjutan.
Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, Pemimpin Redaksi Warta Ekonomi Muhamad Ihsan menjelaskan terdapat tiga aspek utama yang menjadi prioritas CFO di 2022.
"Kami ingin mengukur GCG dari berbagai perusahaan. Dengan adanya digitalisasi serta kaum milenial, kita dihadapkan dengan dunia yang makin transparan. Oleh karena itu, GCG sekarang harus dilengkapi legal and regulatory framework, organisasi hierarki, serta monitoring dan internal control yang bagus yang juga didukung dengan transparansi dan akuntabilitasnya yang sejalan dengan digitalisasi. Dengan begitu, langkah kita akan semakin terlihat dan transparan serta semakin terukur," kata Pemimpin Redaksi Warta Ekonomi Muhamad Ihsan dalam sambutannya di acara penghargaan, Kamis (24/2/2022).
Senada dengan Ihsan, Komisaris Warta Ekonomi Fadel Muhammad juga melihat makin banyak perusahaan di Indonesia yang menunjukkan tata kelola yang baik. Dia menilai hal ini merupakan suatu kemajuan yang luar biasa bagi Indonesia.
"Kali ini Warta Ekonomi ingin memilih perusahaan-perusahaan tertentu yang menunjukkan tata kelolanya dengan baik, yaitu good corporate governance, dan telah secara seksama warta ekonomi mengadakan pengamatan melihat perusahaan-perusahaan dari berbagai data yang ada. Ternyata memang suatu kemajuan yang luar biasa di Indonesia ini, begitu banyak perusahaan yang menunjukkan tata kelolanya dengan baik," ujar Fadel.
Gelaran penghargaan ini turut mendapat apresiasi dari Menteri Perindustrian Agus Gumiwang. Pasalnya, GCG merupakan salah satu pilar penting dalam sistem ekonomi pasar. Dia menilai penerapan GCG dapat menciptakan persaingan pasar yang sehat dan iklim usaha yang kondusif.
“Oleh karena itu, diterapkannya GCG oleh perusahaan-perusahaan di Indonesia sangat penting untuk menunjang kestabilan ekonomi yang berkesinambungan. Manajemen perusahaan harus mampu menyusun strategi yang tepat untuk menghadapi tantangan yang dinamis di masa-masa sekarang dan masa depan dan menjadikan GCG sebagai fondasi dalam memutuskan strategi apapun yang akan diambil perusahaan,” jelasnya.
Hal serupa juga diungkapkan oleh Deputi Bidang Koordinasi Sumber Daya Maritim RI Jodi Mahardi. Menurutnya, GCG dapat menjadi solusi bagi perusahaan dalam menghadapi tantangan pandemi yang memengaruhi tata kelola dan sistem operasi perusahaan, dari penyesuaian pada ritme kerja yang baru, dinamisnya peraturan usaha yang terjadi, serta berbagai tantangan lainnya yang membuat perusahaan perlu terus beradaptasi dengan baik.
“Saya mengucapkan selamat kepada seluruh perusahaan yang hari ini mendapatkan penghargaan. Saya harap perusahaan dapat terus berkembang dengan menjalankan prinsip yang baik dan bekerja dengan hati untuk memajukan bangsa,” ungkap Jodi.
